Imagine a training partner who never gets tired, never misses, and can play any shot you need – thousands of times in a row. That is exactly what the Power Pong Omega is. In this guide we explain what makes this table tennis robot special, who it is for, and how to get the most out of it.
What is the Power Pong Omega?
The Power Pong Omega is the flagship robot of the Power Pong family. It sits on the end of your table, feeds balls with precise speed, spin and placement, and is controlled completely from your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. Whether you are a beginner learning your first forehand or a tournament player working on footwork under pressure, the Omega adapts to your level.
Key features at a glance
- 5 to 120 balls per minute – from slow, controlled technique work to high-intensity endurance training.
- 3-wheel spin system – produces realistic topspin, backspin, sidespin and every combination in between, from no spin to extreme spin.
- 9 spin types – topspin, backspin, left and right sidespin, top/left, top/right, back/left, back/right and no spin.
- Full app control (iOS & Android) – change drills without walking back to the robot.
- Up to 8 unique balls per drill – each ball with its own speed, spin and placement.
- Automatic trajectory calculation – the app works out the right trajectory for every ball, with manual fine-tuning if you want it.
- 4 head heights – most robots have a fixed head; the Omega lets you adjust it for more realistic ball paths.
- Ball recycling net included – balls roll back into the robot so you can train without constant collecting.
- 100 high-quality training balls included.
- Ongoing app updates – the software keeps improving after you buy.
The app: where the Omega really shines
The Power Pong app turns the robot into a complete training system:
- Preset drills for every level, ready to play straight out of the box.
- Create and save your own drills directly in the app.
- Random mode for irregular play – just like a real opponent.
- Mirror mode that flips any drill for left-handed players.
- Drill groups to simulate match situations: chain drills together in a fixed sequence.
- Timed breaks – the drill pauses and then restarts automatically.
- Tags and search to keep your drill library organised.
- Share drills with friends, team mates or your coach.
- Password-protected read-only mode – drills can be played but not edited. Perfect for clubs, hotels and shared spaces.
Who is the Power Pong Omega for?
Ambitious players
Repetition builds technique. With the Omega you can hit hundreds of identical balls in a single session and groove your strokes faster than in any other kind of practice.
Table tennis clubs
One coach, many players, limited table time. The Omega keeps a table busy and productive while the coach works with others, and saved drills mean every player gets a structured session.
Hotels, resorts and leisure centres
Guests love playing against a "robot opponent". It is a unique attraction – and, thanks to the read-only mode and timed sessions, it can easily be offered as a paid activity.
Families and home players
No partner available? No problem. The Omega is ready whenever you are – after work, on the weekend, at any level.
Setting it up
Setup takes just a few minutes: place the robot at the end of your table, attach the net with the corner brackets, plug in the power supply (100–230 V, worldwide compatible), fill the tray with 60–100 balls and connect via Bluetooth. The robot is designed for standard 25 mm tables.
Train smarter with the Power Pong Academy
A robot is only as good as the training you do with it. That is why we offer the Power Pong Academy – structured training content that shows you exactly which drills to use and how to progress. Get the robot and the Academy together in our bundle and save.
